Still No Comment From Pelosi on Kelo

July 1, 2005 the email was sent:

Representative Pelosi,

I am writing you to get a clarification on your position concerning the recent Supreme Court decision in Kelo v. City of New London.

According to a report in the Washington Times your comments on the issue are such:
“House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, said she ?would oppose any legislation that says that we would withhold funds for the enforcement of any decision of the Supreme Court, no matter how opposed I am to that decision?

She then added: ?And I’m not saying that I’m opposed to this decision.?”

I would like to know if you do or if you do not agree with the ruling in this case as these comments make it unclear. I would request that you answer the question first with a simple YES or NO first before any explanation of your position.

If there is an official statement that you can point me to that would clarify your position it would also be appreciated.

Still no response from the loony representative of the left. Will there ever be on? Don’t count on it.
