I’ll say it! Anyone that has two good legs and is sticking around cities like Galveston with Hurricane Rita bearing down on them will not have my sympathy in the aftermath. I don’t want to see media coverage of them whining if their homes are destroyed. I don’t want to hear them complain and moan about their loved one that died in flooding. I don’t. Period.

Some people in America don’t learn their lessons well. They see the devastation that hurricanes wreak on Florida and the Carolina’s each year and yet they still opt to “ride it out”.

Like they have been told already - if you stick around you are on your own. And for those of you that have left the area I hope you have good insurance.
