Need Money? Raise Taxes Hillary Clinton Says!

Or as Senatorette Hillary tried in an attempt to justify rolling back the previously enacted tax cuts “Let’s take care of each other. Let’s plan for the future. Let’s do what is necessary to put Americans first again.” (NewsMax)

Aw. Where’s my guitar? I feel a rousing chorus of Kumbaya coming on! Someone get Cindy Sheehan in here - we need a token hippie.

Here we go again with the socialist class warfare excuse again. Natural disaster hits so have the “rich” pay for it!

Ok, let’s go over Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution again shall we? Anything in there about taking money from the “rich” and giving it to states to rebuild after disasters? Anything in there about taking money from the “rich” to fund building levies? Anything in there about taking money from the “rich” to make people without homes feel better? Anything in there about taking money from the “rich” to pay for the clothing and food of those displaced?

Uh nope!

Does it mean that these people should not be helped? No. Because the Constitution clearly says that those powers not in there for the federal government to preside over are retained by the States and the people!

That means Louisiana you are supposed to be paying for your own “disaster relief” and that means getting organizations like the Red Cross in there which are funded by VOLUNTARY donations by “the people”.

But no. Senatorette Clinton would rather use the nanny state to do these things instead. The fact that it isn’t allowed by the Constitution be damned! After all, it’s just an old piece of paper right?
