“The federal response over these crucial first days has been totally unacceptable. There will be a time for a full accounting of the preventable part of this disaster, and those responsible will be held accountable. It will be soon.”

Yes, leave it to old Howard “The Scream” to continue to promote an unconstutional government program (FEMA) as the culprit. Let’s not place blame at those that actually have control over the city of New Orleans right? Or how about someone that had direct control over the state and didn’t deploy the National Guard right?

No ? of course not. Because that would mean two Democrats (Mayor Ray Nagin and Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco) would have to be held accountable. So instead Howard Dean continues the DNC strategy of blaming buildings and bureaucratic agencies instead of focusing on the real problems.

The federal government is NOT supposed to be a first responder to natural disasters.
