Ahhhh Socialism!

Dick Pettys of the Associated Press has an interesting article today called 300 Ga. Businesses Got 9/11 Loans.

Yes, you heard right. Businesses in Georgia applied for and received government socialist handouts because they claimed they were effected by the September 11th attacks. Business owners claimed everything from “travel suddenly declined as people stayed close to their homes” to even claiming that their loans did not “have anything to do with the disaster” as excuses.

Well GOLLY! Then EVERY business in America should have been eligible!

No, what we have here is people gaming the system because they are so used to the government welfare state that they expect the handouts and bailouts … and so what if we have to stretch the truth just a little right?
