Add Nancy Pelosi to Your Idiot List

“Whether it’s unemployment insurance, or disaster assistance insurance, or food stamps, whatever it is, we must cut the red tape so they can have what they need.”

I have posted Pelosi’s entire statement for you to read which is basically a rant about how the federal government should do all sorts of things that it shouldn’t do.

So here is the question I pose to Nancy Pelosi - where in the Constitution of the United States (which I would hope you have read) is the clause that says it is the President’s job to respond to National Disasters with anything above and beyond possibly the deployment of troops to maintain law and order?

Hmm. I do see an Amendment that says all powers not granted to the federal government are retained by the States and the people however. Maybe you should set your sights a little bit lower there Nancy. Like maybe at your fellow Democrats that are the Mayor and the Governor perhaps?

Oh no. Can’t possibly do that. It must be George Bush right?
