4 Years

Four years after September 11th, 2001 Amierca is still not united. Oh sure some people put on a good show for a couple months but the charade was soon dropped at any political oportunity that arose.

Whether it was complaints about how not even the mighty Soviet Army could win in Afghanistan so how could we? Or complaints about how Iraq had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks so therefor Saddam was not a legitimate part of the war on terror which required the blatant ignoring of terror training camps in country and years of terror on his own people. Even complaints about Abu Garib or Gitmo were made but the non-serious.

4 long years it has been with griping and infighting all the way except for a few short moments following the attacks. But still every year we come back to September 11th and the date will not go away.

8:46 a.m. WTC North Tower hit: 92 Passengers & Crew aboard American Flight 11 and an unknown number in the tower die immediately
9:03 a.m. WTC South Tower hit: 65 Passengers & Crew aboard United Flight 175 and an unknown number in the tower die immediately
9:45 a.m. Pentagon struck: 64 Passengers & Crew aboard American Flight 77 and many inside the building die immediately
10:05 a.m. The South Tower collapses
10:10 a.m. United Flight 93 carrying 45 Passengers & Crew reportedly rebelling against the hijackers after learning of the fate of the other planes crashes in Shanksville Pennsylvania
10:28 a.m. - The North Tower collapses

And every year you will be reminded of what happened on September 11th. Whether you like it or not. And whether you like it or not we will win this war.

If tomorrow all the things were gone,
I?d worked for all my life.
And I had to start again,
with just my children and my wife.

I?d thank my lucky stars,
to be livin here today.
? Cause the flag still stands for freedom,
and they can?t take that away.

And I?m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I?m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
? Cause there ain?t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

From the lakes of Minnesota,
to the hills of Tennessee.
Across the plains of Texas,
From sea to shining sea.

From Detroit down to Houston,
and New York to L.A.
Well there’s pride in every American heart,
and its time we stand and say.

That I?m proud to be an American,
where at least I know I?m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
? Cause there ain?t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA.

And I?m proud to be and American,
where at least I know I?m free.
And I wont forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

And I gladly stand up,
next to you and defend her still today.
? Cause there ain?t no doubt I love this land,
God bless the USA

On topic and intelligent comments are always welcome as are humorous observations. But liberal talking points with no basis in reality, off topic comments, spam and advertisements are not. Even though you may think you are an intelligent liberal, you probably are not. Keep this in mind as trolling is prohibited and will result in your comments not being approved and comments informing us how much we are a bunch of idiots because you say we are or espousing hate towards the truth are often moved directly to the official “I Hate You/You’re An Idiot” thread. Save us all the time and post there directly if you have a comment that would meet those criteria. Commenters reserve the right to mock claims about how liberal ideas, such as higher taxes, actually work and how conservative and right wingers, are NAZIs, racists, sexists, etc. and will do so with great regularity.
