Why Do They Keep Lying About Social Security?

I know, I know … the answer is because they think we are stupid. And as the left attempts to maintain their grasp on some sort of power over the American citizens and with the Anniversary of possibly the greatest Socialist plan to be forced upon the American people upon us, they are out in full force.

“What has made Social Security strong is the principle of guaranteed benefits,” AUPSS spokesman Brad Woodhouse said. “That principle would go away under the president’s privatization plan.” - The Washington Times

Problem there is Brad, or should I say Comrade Woodhouse, that there IS NO GUARANTEE for social security. NONE! NADA! ZIP! ZERO! SHOW IT TO ME! Show this ?guarantee? in a piece of legislation that cannot be overturned or changed by Congress!

The TRUTH about Social Security is this. If, Social Security doesn’t have enough money in the bank then that money comes from borrowing. And when that borrowing is no longer enough, benefits get cut. And as the deficit gets bigger and bigger those benefits get cut even more.

Doesn’t sound like much of a “guarantee” to me. Does it sound like one to you?

What Comrade Woodhouse and his fellow travelers won’t tell you is how much it is going to cost the working American tax payer to fund Social Security for those that are retired and failed to be responsible and save for their own retirement.

We are quickly approaching a time when it will be two (thet?s ONLY 2!) workers will be working for each person on Social Security. If your check is $1,000 each month that means that each of these TWO workers is required to pay you $500 each month. And for doing what in return for them?

Justify it. Please I want to hear the how the socialist mind works to justify that the average worker must give them $500 each month in order to live in retirement!

The fact of the matter is this my fellow Americans. Socialism fails. Communism fails. All left wing ideologies that require the redistribution of wealth through programs such as Social Security fail eventually and that is what we are facing now. Fewer and fewer are carrying the burdens of society and more and more are leeching off of the productive.

As Thomas Jefferson once said ?I think myself that we have more machinery of government than is necessary, too many parasites living on the labor of the industrious.? (Letter to William Ludlow (September 6, 1824)

How does it feel to have one of the prominent founding fathers tell you that? I?m sorry to have to have hit you between the eyes with that big, old two-by-four friends.

Grandma and grandpa and mom and dad and most of us all fell for it hook line and sinker for the most part. We have an opportunity here to turn this boat around before it is too late to keep the “promise” we made to them no matter how obscene that promise is to what it means to be an American. The time has come to start taking baby steps away from the rampant socialism that is infesting our society and threatening to collapse our economy and put millions of retired persons into financial peril. The time has come to wean the American populace off of Socialism rather than wait 50 or 70 years and yank the safety net out from under them at once.

But as long as the fear mongers are out there talking about how belief in the free markets and controlling our own wealth is the worst thing in the world when they have millions invested in private accounts themselves we cannot have a legitimate debate. So it is up to us as Americans to tell them to shut up and listen for once to the truth instead of being so blinded by their own desire for political power.

And the truth is that Social Security, Medicare and all other federal socialism programs with no reference to in the Constitution must be made to wither and die so that freedom and liberty can grow.
