More on Cindy Sheehan

Cindy Sheehan said some more disturbing things that I think bear noting.

When asked about how her three other children were doing, Cindy apparently had this to say (source)

Carly the oldest has coped by throwing herself into school. Andy is coping by becoming Casey. Janey is coping by drinking and partying.

Unfortunately, I am not able to help them that much because of my pain, and because I feel so compelled to fight the injustice and bring the troops home.
I know they believe that what I am doing is right, but they wish we weren’t in the situation, as do I.

WOW! What a whacko! So let me get this straight here Cindy, you claim that at least ONE of your children (Janey) is “drinking” to deal with the loss of Casey and you are “not able to help them that much because of my pain, and because I feel so compelled to fight the injustice and bring the troops home.”?

This folks has got to be one of the most selfish women I have ever seen! Ok so you disagree with the war and are compelled to sit out in front of the President’s Crawford ranch while allowing one of your children to self-destruct?

Gee. I wonder how much you really do care about your own children Cindy. I really do.

It is telling because it shows that she is not above neglecting her own children for gain. Just like when she decided that she would not act “how (the family) believed Casey would have wanted them to act” as they originally said (source). Then she turned out to not really believe that when she saw how much attention she could get for herself instead.

First Casey. Now Janey. I wonder how many other of her children she will use, abuse or neglect all for her own ends. Go home Cindy. Take care of your family. Be a parent!
