Liberals still don?t understand that words means things as they are out there calling Karl Rove a ?traitor? for ? um ? correcting a reporter and preventing a false story to run. Their claim is of course that he outted wife of Democratic Party hack Joseph Wilson (Valerie Plame) who was a CIA operative. They have tried to say that he broke the law, but as the details of the law come forth and the truth about Mr. Plame?s position become known now that lie is falling apart. So on to the next ?big lie??
Now they are going for a more hard hitting accusation — Karl Rove committed ?treason?!
This is another case of the Liberals not understanding what is happening and charging ahead based on those misunderstandings. They watched as American patriots jumped all over Senator Dick Durbin for comparing our troops to NAZIs and how traitorous his comments were and they think they can jump on Karl Rove the same way.
?Traitor! Traitor! Traitor!? they yell. Problem is that Dick Durbin did in fact commit an act of treason and Karl Rove did not. Remember, words mean things.
Treason:
?Article V Section. 3.
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.?
Senator ?Dick? did, provide Aid and Comfort to the enemy by allowing them to rally their troops around a baseless claim that we were doing terrible, terrible things to their fellow jihadists. He allowed them to rally behind false claims of how we are so evil that we need to be fought against and defeated. Karl Rove did not levy war against the United States. Karl Rove did not adhere to our enemies. And Karl Rove did not provide any Aid or Comfort to the enemy by correcting a misconception purposefully propagated by Joseph Wilson himself by making a false claim about who sent him to Niger.
And this is the problem with the political left ? they just think they can throw terms and accusations around. And they are doing this specifically to distract attention away from other issues like how the economy just keeps chugging right along, that there are terrorists out there that want to kill us, and that they have flipped on the issue of Social Security being in trouble.
The leadership of the liberal movement and the Democratic Party are so intellectually vacant it would be laughable — that is if it wasn?t so serious of an issue.

On topic and intelligent comments are always welcome as are humorous observations. But liberal talking points with no basis in reality, off topic comments, spam and advertisements are not.
