The Difference Between Bernie Sanders And An American

“I want government to stand up for working people, for the middle class, rather than representing, as is currently the case in the United States, multinational corporations and wealthy people.

“I also believe that as citizens in a democratic society people are entitled to certain inherent rights ? and those rights include the right to health care, the right to form a union, the right to breathe good air, the right to send your child to college.

These are the words of avout Socialist Bernie Sanders from Vermont (source).

Sounds nice doesn’t it? Problem is, he forgot to add something very important to that statement and that is he thinks that everyone else should pay for your “health care”, your “union” benefits, and to send “your child to college” under threat of reprisal from the government if they decline to do so. And what exactly he means by “good air” is anyone’s guess since air, even in so called “pristine” areas is often times drity with particulate from dirt and many other contaminants as well. So we’ll just chalk that “good air” comment up to Mr. Sanders knowing how to throw in a good buzz word every now and again. No one, not even those EVIL corporation owners are for having air that is not “good” because they have to breathe it too.

The difference between Mr. Sanders and an American is that an American believes that you should pay for your own “health care”, “union”, and “college” and even have the right to ask other people to voluntarily help you out with those things if they want to. But an American doesn’t believe that anyone should be forced to provide you with any of the above things or be thrown in jail or shot.

Bernie Sanders is vying for the Senate seat currently held by fellow lefty Jim Jeffords who used to try and pretend to be a Republican but gave up that charade several years ago. And if Mr. Sanders wins, it would be like putting a new tire on the car … you wont notice any difference. Except that Mr. Sanders admits what he is and Mr. Jeffords still pretends to be an American.
