RSSFringe Radicals Fail To Get Support

Centro de Ayuda tried to show they had some political clout and failed. Elias Bermudez and his group called for Hispanics to stay home from work on May 10th in protest of Arizona and the people of America attempting to crack down on illegal aliens (i.e. criminals).
Unfortunately, according to Jerry Seper of The Washington Times, ?most community and civic leaders agreed that yesterday?s boycott was a failure because many potential participants could not afford to lose a workday or business income.?
Gee, must not be THAT big of an issue then eh? But plans are moving right along to try it on an even larger scale in July. Some people just don?t learn. They think that because their idiotic ideas failed that it was only because they didn?t do it on a big enough scale. This is the same philosophy of Marxists and Communists complaining that if only we had MORE left wing and intrusive government, these philosophies will work better.
Mr. Bermudez said of the exercise ?We contribute to the greatness of this state and we should not be pushed around like we are.? But alas Mr. Bermudez, like many activists who don?t have a job unless they have a problem to manage is confusing the issue. Mr. Bermudez, no one is after the legal immigrants that actually do contribute to the greatness of your state. What people do want to do however is stop the criminals who are breaking laws and partaking of benefits for free. The later certainly do not contribute the greatness of your state.
Let us not confuse the issue. Those of us that support laws like Proposition 200 are not racists or anti-Hispanic in any way. We are not like the raving liberals on the left that see the color of one?s skin or their ethnicity or gender as important. We are blind to such things. What we are against however is people that break the laws of this nation and our states and are supported in doing so by the governments of other countries. Until you, Mr. Bermudez, can understand that you will never be seen as anything more than an ignorant fool.

On topic and intelligent comments are always welcome as are humorous observations. But liberal talking points with no basis in reality, off topic comments, spam and advertisements are not.
