Christians Standing Up For Themselves!

Kyle Trudelle is the latest Christian to be persecuted for daring to imply that yes, there is indeed a God. Kyle’s work on a mural at his school in Napa California has drawn the ire of anti-religious zealots that fear anything that smacks of religion or acknowledgement of a Creator.

The mural was originally to contain a picture of a stairway leading to a castle in the clouds with no overtly religious symbols such as the Christian Cross, the Jewish Star of David or the Islamic Cressent. But that was too much for a pair of his critic that started petition to stop the painting. One can only assume that they are atheists since the religious symbolism was so vague that no particular religious group could complain. And we all know how Atheists burn and seethe at any possible mention of “God” right?

It is either that or some incredibly misguided religious folk that fear any religion being mentioned other than theirs. But I?ll place my bets with them being Atheists.

Well too bad! And Kyel Trudelle is fighting back with the help of powerful legal council that actually understands what the first amendment says and means.

Here’s a question to all you Atheists out there attempting to remove religion from our lives. Are you going after our founding documents next? Because there is quite a bit of religion in them!

“Done in Convention by the Unanimous Consent of the States present the Seventeenth Day of September in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty seven and of the Independence of the United States of America the Twelfth In witness whereof We have hereunto subscribed our Names,” - The United States Constitution

“We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights” - The United States Declaration of Independence

“We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions,” - The United States Declaration of Independence

“And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.” - The United States Declaration of Independence

Do you see that all you limp wristed atheists attempting to assert YOUR religion upon us? Even the founders acknowledged the presence of a higher being and founded this country upon it! Just because you don’t believe, doesn’t give you the right to prevent others from believing when even the people that formed this great nation set forth such a belief in God as the primary source of our rights.

It’s good to see Christians and other people of faith fighting back against the tyranny of this irreligious minority.
