Anti Christian Litigation Unit Strikes AGAIN!

Keystone School District in Knox, PA was prohibited from reciting a prayer at their graduation cerimonies because “someone” complained (KDKA News). Enter the ACLU better known as the Anti Christian Litigation Unit or also the American Communist & Liberal Union who, in the style of the former communist Soviet Union are rushing around attempting to ban religion from public life.

That’s right. One “someone” complained and the whole prayer thing is out … we can’t after all offend someone right? But when other residents are offended at this person’s actions causing them to not be allowed to freely practice their religion … well that is another story. Their “offense” at someone being “offended” doesn’t count because it doesn’t further the goal of wiping religion from the pubic square.

“Vic” Walczak, legal director of the ACLU’s Pittsburgh chapter (read un-American blood sucking pinko-commie sympathizer) said “When public schools reserve time at a graduation ceremony for prayers, they violate the Constitution by putting the power, prestige and endorsement of the state behind whatever prayer is offered.” (The Times Online)

Ok, time for a history lesson here on the Constitution since apparently Mr. Walczak thinks we are too stupid to read the Constitution and that he is somehow the great and powerful arbiter of what it says along with the ACLU.

Amendment I: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise [of religion]

That means, that if someone wants to stand up at a graduation ceremony there can be NO LAW that prohibits them from freely practicing their religion. Now, since the courts don’t make laws (or at least they are not supposed to), the ACLU CANNOT go to court and sue to stop someone from praying at a public school because there can be NO LAW for which the court could find the defendant guilty of violating.

Oh, and just in case you forgot, since the ACLU will never tell you this either, there is a later amendment that makes it UNCONSTITUTIONAL for the States to violate your federal rights as well.

Amendment XIV: No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States…

That’s right all you whiney, limp wristed, girliemen out there … there can NEVER be ANY law passed ANYWHERE within the United States that prohibits the free exercise of religion.

Someone saying a prayer does not “establish” a religion in violation of the First Amendment.

    How to slow the power of the liberal. If a storeowner in your town or neighborhood had a son that beat your son up each time he walked by the store, would you continue to trade with him? That is exactly what you are doing when you buy from New York, Mass.,Ca. New Jersey….etc. Leftist strongholds! Look for alternative brands produced in more conservative states. If the product is not as good as the one you now buy, it will soon be, when capital flows into that state from us. 1,000,000 people converting $50 dollars of their purchases from the leftist states to the more conservative states each month would deprive those companies of $50,000,000 per month. Add more money taken out of companies in those states…do the math. This does not require anyone to go without, as in a boycott….it only requires you to take the time to find alternate products in other states. It would be great fun knowing that you are not giving hard earned money to an ememy.
